​I'm Giovane, a sound designer and music composer from Brazil, currently living in Canada. With a PgD in Video Game Development and a BA in Media Studies, I've been involved in over 10 different projects, from AAA games to indie ones; from short animated animations to game trailers. I love audio and anything that involves sound!

Have you ever tried watching a movie or playing a game without sound? We only realize the importance of audio when we miss it, but the truth is that much of the feeling of "involvement" with audiovisual medias happens when your brain recognizes sounds and understands that the soundscape matches reality. Concomitantly, the soundtrack gives the "mood" of the scene and evokes the feelings desired by the creators. This is only possible through a joint work involving sound effects and music made with dedication and focus on the project.

I know that each project is unique and its creators have different goals. For that reason, my role here is to help get closer to these goals, respecting the creative vision of those involved.
